WITH POSSIBILITY OF EXTENDING TO LKTDS ADVANCED
FOR AGES 6 THRU 18
- 11 courses to be normally studied during 11 school years. Non-formal education conceived exclusively for students of elementary, secondary and high school ages, and designed to be completed simultaneously with curricular schooling.
- 11 years within the SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM, qualify for LKTDS INTERMEDIATE. In order to obtain LKTDS ADVANCED, course 12, also called LKTDS IGNITOR, must be completed at the method’s main branch, which is currently the only center authorized to implement the FULL DIPLOMA PROGRAM.
- The complete formation within the SCHOOL-AGE PROGRAM is subject to receiving Ballet, Jazz and/or Modern Dance lessons in the same school and it involves obtaining credits within the LKTDS examination system.
- The program is sorted out into age groups and caters for an increase in level that is synchronous to the age.
- In case of need, the syllabus includes catch-up plans which are designed to offer school-age students that start in later stages the opportunity to join in the core curriculum.
- The formation includes: Technique; rhythm, Jazz & general music theory; coordination work; body & posture awareness; terminology; classical Tap Dance repertoire; composition and improvisation.
